Science
The Science Department at Annan pride themselves on delivering an exciting and inspiring curriculum. Our aim is to give all students an opportunity to engage with the natural world through scientific enquiry. Students will study and gain key scientific skills through studying a host of Biology, Chemistry and Physics topics such as Cells, Inheritance, The Periodic Table, Chemical Reactions, Sound and Outer Space. Lessons are designed to develop the natural curiosity that exist within all students. The Annan academy Science Department have designed their Curriculum which will support and inspire pupils to become independent learners; we hope that our students will leave school equipped with a love of the natural world as well as the skills and self-belief required to pursue science as part of their Further Education or future career.
